"The dazzling gown and girl review of 1927!"
Céleste de Givray is known throughout Europe as the most beautiful and best dressed model in Paris. Her press agent Sam Dupont concocts a publicity stunt to get attention. He has Céleste undergo plastic surgery and then wants to introduce her as the 'new' face at a chic fashion show. But due to a delay in surgery, Dupont is forced to find a replacement for her and hires Céleste's American doppelganger Lola Dauvry.
