Family Blessings plot

Widow Lee Reston loses her son Greg in a car accident. Chris Lallek, a close friend of Greg's who was his colleague as a police officer, tries to be there for the Reston family when they have to miss Greg. Lee and Chris are growing closer, but their age difference seems to be an obstacle. Lee's daughter has the most trouble with her mother's relationship. When Chris proposes to Lee, Lee seems to be faced with a choice between her family and the man she loves so much.
