Familie plot

Film about the ups and downs of a family, whose mother Els has known for two years that she has cancer. She still has a few months left. In order to have 'fun' together again, father Jan organizes a last family reunion in Austria. Reluctantly, their children, the socially successful son Nico with his chatty wife Sandra and the floaty daughter Bibi with her failed writer husband Von, head for a chalet in the snowy Tyrol. While the tensions between Sandra and Nico are already mounting in the car, this atmosphere in the chalet quickly spreads to the rest of the family, drawing out all the demons from the past. In a drunken stupor, Nico causes the situation to escalate. While everyone is at odds with each other, mother Els provides a surprise.
