Evel Knievel grows up with his grandparents in a bad neighborhood in a mining town in Montana. With his love Linda on the back of his motorcycle, Evel leaves the town in search of something new. That 'news' will be a glorious career as a stuntman, with which he becomes world famous. It will also be a life of love for his wife and children, but also conflicts due to his drinking and hunger for life-threatening stunts.
