Epsteins Nacht plot

Forty years after World War II, on Christmas Eve, the Jew Jochen Epstein decides to attend a Catholic Mass for the first time in his life, to please the daughter of his housekeeper who is a member of the choir. Epstein is accompanied by his friends, the brothers Karl and Adam Rose. In the priest leading mass, Epstein and Karl Rose recognize none other than 'Giesser', the greatest martyr of the concentration camp where the two friends were humiliated during World War II. The three men decide the next day to confront the priest with the past. This confrontation takes a surprising turn, resulting in a deadly shot.
