Eohwa plot

Fisherman Choon-sam is in need of money as a result of a long-term shortage of fish. Fish is scarce. He is harassed by the miserly Mr. Jang, who wants him to repay his debts. He heads out to sea in the hope of a good catch, but the result is very meager. Mr. Jang proposes to him, in payment for the debt, that Choon-sam's daughter become his second wife. But the girl loves someone else.
