Entre la Mer et l'Eau Douce plot
A young man leaves Quebec and travels to Montreal to try his luck there. After having had several jobs, he broke through as a singer. Just before he became famous, he fell for a waitress at a dingy restaurant, but now he abandons her for another woman, who soon leaves him. In the end, he is left as lonely as when he lived in Quebec. All the money in the world can't give him his old girl back.
