Entotsu no Mieru Basho plot
The lives of Ryukichi and Hiroko Ogata, a salesman and his lonely wife, and Kenzo and Senko, two enamored subtenants, are disrupted and eventually transformed by the appearance of an abandoned baby on the doorstep of their home. The film portrays two Japanese couples against the background of the growing industrialization in Tokyo in the 1950s.
