En Garde plot
Alice is 16 when her mother sends her to a Catholic home. She is particularly distinguished from her noisy fellow students by her sensitive hearing ability, which makes her perceive the outside world in a more unusual, but also more threatening way. The Kurdish girl Berivan, who is waiting for an asylum application, gains the trust of the introverted Alice, and they become friends. But that friendship threatens to break when Berivan falls in love with Ilir. Suddenly everything escalates.
