El Viento Se Llevó Lo Qué plot

Taxi driver Soledad flees the hectic city life and ends up in Rio Pico, one of the few towns in Patagonia. The distance from the actually inhabited world is so great that the isolation of the inhabitants is only broken in the cinema. They never get enough of watching movies. But in Rio Pico, the films don't arrive until they've been screened in all the other villages in Argentina, and the film operator welds the battered pieces of celluloid together as it suits him. The distorted world view created by all those meters of scrambled films has a major influence on life in the town itself.
