El Lugar del Hijo plot

Ariel (Felipe Dieste) is a student activist who is much more involved in activism than in his studies. Upon learning that his father has passed away, Ariel leaves Montevideo and returns to his hometown of Salto, just in time to witness his father's funeral. He comes into contact with the notary, who kindly asks him to have an interview as soon as possible about the debts that his father had built up.
