"There are women and mushrooms that can cause death ... A black servant was chosen to prove both before anyone else"
A black boy is found in the jungle near a waterfall by an elderly Mexican plantation owner. The man raises the child as his own son. His youngest daughter and the boy grow up together and fall in love, as time passes. The mother also tries to have a romantic relationship with the young man. But the boy shows no interest. The Mexican 'father' is not happy with the developments and forces the boy to taste all kinds of mushrooms...
