El Cielito plot

Félix, a lonely orphan and petty thief, arrives in the small Argentine town of Rio Tala and meets Roberto, a former factory worker. Roberto decides to take care of Félix and offers him to come and work on his small inherited farm, where he lives with his wife Mercedes and one-year-old son Chango. Everything seems idyllic until quarrels arise between Roberto and his wife that quickly degenerate. Félix becomes a surrogate parent for Chango and a warm bond develops between the two.
