El Artista plot
Jorge Ramirez works as a nurse in a retirement home. His dull life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers that one of his patients, who suffers from a form of autism, is a talented painter. Jorge, fascinated by the artworks, signs them with his own name. The critics are entranced by his work, for them he is a discovery, a painter who works with such self-confidence that it seems as if no one was ever before him. Jorge enters a world of gallery owners, collectors, art critics, admirers and curators of exhibitions. He appears on television, earns tons of money and is adored by everyone. But his career also sets in motion the carousel of causes, effects and paradoxes.
