El Amor Es una Mujer Gorda plot

José is a young journalist assigned to write an article about an American film crew. The film crew is making a documentary about poverty in Argentina. When he learns that they are twisting facts to make the documentary more dramatic, he doesn't want to write about it anymore and is fired by the editor-in-chief. Together with his friend, bandoneon player Caferata, he decides to visit his ex-girlfriend Claudia. During his seemingly fruitless search, he runs into the film crew again.
