Ek Din Pratidin plot

Chinu, the eldest daughter and sole breadwinner from a middle-class family, doesn't come home from work one evening. What happened to Chinu? Was she held up at work? Did she have an accident? Or is she experiencing a frivolous amorous adventure? As night falls, the unrest grows into a total upheaval that drives the members of the apparently harmoniously living family traumatized by poverty against each other. The parents are worried about their child, but even more about themselves: what will happen if their only source of income threatens to disappear?
