Eine Liebesgeschichte plot

Ritmeester Jost von Fredershof gets to know his girlfriend, the former actress Lili, at a party of Count von Prittwitz. The two are immediately attracted to each other and leave the party together, but the captain doesn't get approval for the relationship from his colleagues. Jost decides to choose Lili and to quit his job, but the soldiers don't accept that.
