Karl (Daniel Brühl), who works as an insurance agent, has his life in perfect order and everything seems to be going well. Through his work, Karl comes into contact with Hans (Jürgen Vogel) who is his opposite in everything. Despite their different interests and way of life, they get along very well. When Hans gets into trouble, Karl has to choose his job or his friendship.
