Ein April Hat 30 Tage plot

Single mother Maria and her ten-year-old son Micha move to a new apartment in Berlin's Marzahn district on April 1. On the first evening, Maria is invited by her neighbor Alvaro, a political refugee from Uruguay, who stayed in the GDR to work for the Communist Party. A passionate love affair develops between Maria and Alvaro. Also Micha, who at first thought Alvaro was only a suspicious person, becomes good friends with him and so nothing stands in the way of their happiness, except for the certainty that one day Alvaro will receive a new assignment in another country and her then will have to leave.
