Ei Sain Deizu plot
During the Vietnam War, the US military based many of their personnel on the Japanese island of Okinawa. Thousands of soldiers roamed the island looking for entertainment in the previously established bars and nightclubs. Eri (Nakagawa), the daughter of a local islander, loves music and is eager to join one of the many rock bands that make good money at one of the many nightclubs intended for military personnel. She meets Sachio (Ishibashi), singer of a successful local band, who in turn falls in love with Eri. The film follows their relationship from 1968, when the Okinawa rock scene exploded, to the end of the war in 1975.
