Edificio Royal plot
Several tenants in a dilapidated apartment complex in Barranquilla are on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Zoila, the janitor, obsessively follows the advice of her television. The embalmer Justo has to store a corpse in his living room while his wife Margarita walks on tiptoe. Meanwhile, Graciela tries to keep her husband Humberto's illusion intact. She hands him a photo of Tom Cruise in A Few Good Men and convinces Humberto that this is his son, a military pilot.
