Edge of Salvation plot

"Sometimes hope is found in dark places."

David Stevens, a thoughtful and professional documentary producer, is making a film about the victims of the recession. He is convinced that the Malone family is a good subject because of their financial situation and because they recently took in an orphaned teenager. David follows them during the move, during which the tension within the family rises and the integration in the new neighborhood does not run smoothly. David does everything he can to keep his focus on the family and their rapid descent up the socio-economic ladder.
