Dying to Be Perfect: The Ellen Hart Pena Story plot

The life of 20-year-old long-distance runner Ellen Hart (Crystal Bernard) turns into a nightmare when she suffers from severe eating disorders to lose weight. She does it for her demanding coach but her anorexia loses her place in the Olympic team. Even after Ellen retires from the sport, she has a very hard time letting go of her obsession. When the president appoints her husband to an important political position, Ellen must deal with the past if she wants a chance for her future.
