Mavie is 30 years old and arrives in Paris. She dreams of a future as a writer and is full of doubts and fears. She meets Georges who is 76 years old. He is misanthropic, lives alone, hides in his bookshop and is annoyed by the world. He expects nothing more from life. Unexpectedly, the two click, but Georges is bored with a dark secret and that will change Mavie's fate.
