Dreams by the Sea plot

Sixteen-year-old Esther lives a safe life in a small town on an island with her religious and conservative parents. At Sunday school, she meets Ragna, who has just moved to the same place with her alcoholic mother and eight-year-old brother. In Ragna, Esther sees everything she'd wanted all her life. However, Ragna sees this in Esther.
