Dr. Lucille plot

The Canadian doctor Lucille Teasdale runs a medical post in Uganda together with the Italian doctor Piero Corti and she becomes passionate about the country and the people. Lucille marries Corti and together they dedicate their lives to the wounded and sick, despite the chaos of civil war and tribal conflict. The AIDS virus is discovered and although Lucille herself appears to be infected, it does not stop her from committing herself to her work for the rest of her life.
