Dov'è la Libertà...? plot
The hairdresser Salvatore is released from prison. He served 20 years for committing a murder of passion. Once free, he notices that the world has changed a lot. Salvatore cannot adapt to the new society and when even his own family approaches him hypocritically, he decides it is better to go back behind bars.

Surprisingly, this was partly a comedy; I was expecting a more serious drama. This keeps the tone light, but also prevents the film from making much of an impression. It's a nice reflection of the times, and Totò does hold your attention, but 90 minutes is more than enough for that. 3.0*
