Dotkniecie Reki plot
Stefan Bugajski is a young music scholar from Krakow with a fascination for a certain melody, which he attributes to the Hungarian composer Henryk Kesdi. Kesdi is very disappointed in life and lives completely withdrawn in Denmark with his second wife. When Stefan contacts him, the composer is not exactly forthcoming. But Stefan has a wonderful effect on Kesdi. He forgets his disappointment in the world and his old age ailments, and decides to complete his life's work after all.
