Dorothea Angermann plot

The pastor's daughter Dorothea Angermann is on trial for the alleged murder of her husband. An attempt is made to unravel this case through interviews with witnesses. She comes from a district town, loves the engineer Michael, but at the insistence of her bigoted father marries the chef Mario, from whom she is expecting a child. Her marriage is an ordeal: she is mistreated, she loses her child and is further tormented. Then Michael returns from abroad and the case escalates.
