Dooratwa plot

Calcutta-born Mandar, college teacher and former revolutionary of the late 1960s, marries a young woman, Anjali. When he learns that she is pregnant by someone else, he leaves her. However, Anjali refuses to reveal the father's name as she believes she is equally responsible for the pregnancy. A short time later, Mandar refuses to give shelter to a Naxalite (guerrilla fighter) on the run.
