Don Quixote plot

In sixteenth-century Spain, an old gentleman reads too many knightly tales, which makes him mad. In his madness, he proclaims himself a knight and sets out with his page Sancho Panza, in order to reshape the world and revive the time of knights. He sees a woman of good manners for a damsel, bars for castles, a knight's play for the real thing, flocks of sheep for armies and mills for giants. While he is with Sancho on these adventures, his niece, her fiancé and the local priest figure out a way to get him back home.
