Do Svidaniya, Malchiki! plot

Goodbye, Boys! is the coming-of-age story of three teenagers who graduate from a communist school during the Second World War. It's summer and their main occupations are swimming in the Black Sea and hitting on the girl they are all in love with. However, then they are asked to become officers in the navy and slowly their world begins to change forever. Their parents disagree; they are afraid of losing each other and their relatives. It doesn't get any better if they are lied to and end up in the army instead of the navy.
