Two people from the same village and tribe fall in love between lectures. While on vacation, they go home and ask the girl's father for permission to get married. But the father is an old-fashioned chieftain and the man his daughter wants to marry comes from a lower social class. The father realizes that his choice affects not only the future of his own daughter, but also the future values and norms of the village.
