Die Zeit, Die Man Leben Nennt plot
Luca, a promising young pianist, wins an important tournament. Shortly after he left the concert hall, he was hit by a car that left him permanently paralyzed from the waist down. Because he no longer sees the meaning of life, he tries to commit suicide in the rehabilitation clinic by falling into a lake, but is saved by another wheelchair user. A warm friendship develops between the two opposites, each urging the other.
