Die Vier Gesellen plot

Despite the difficult financial times, four young women decide to start a company together after their education. Kate, Lotte, Franziska and Marianne now own the advertising agency "Die Vier Gesellen". All four have been trained at the vocational school for arts and crafts. Their teacher Stefan Kohlund wanted to marry Marianne, but she refused. Meanwhile, Stefan has become the advertising manager of a large cigarette company in Dresden, while the ladies wait in vain for work. The ambitious Marianne decides to take matters into her own hands.
