Around 1230 BC the Israelites live in slavery in Egypt. At that time, the Jewish slave girl Merapi (María Corda) falls in love with Prince Seti (Adelqui Migliar), the son of Pharaoh Menapta (Adolf Weisse). Their impossible love leads to numerous problems. Meanwhile, Moses tries to lead the Israeli people to freedom.
