Die Sache mit dem Glück plot

Michael (Oliver Stokowski) and Sabine (Katharina Böhm) have been together for over 20 years and have three children. The sudden death of a friend makes the couple think about the relativity of their lives. Michael runs a failing furniture business and Sabine is a licensed nurse who cares for her family full-time. They hear from an old school friend about how beautiful life is in Costa Rica and they decide to build a future with their family in this adventurous Central American country. But that just doesn't happen.
