Die Nacht des Marders plot

The couple Elisabeth (Annamirl Bierbichler) and Ignaz (Franz Buchrieser) live in the countryside, where they lead a peaceful life. One day, the stupid stranger Max (Claus Eberth) arrives, causing the necessary unrest. Elisabeth is attracted to Max, but the narrow morals of the countryside forbid her to follow her heart and start a relationship with the man.
