Die Hochzeit von Länneken plot

Life seems to have come to a standstill on the island of Länneken. Ancient customs and traditional relationships are still the mores. Even the creation of a fishing cooperative has not affected the power of the two richest men on the island: Grabe and Pröpping. Both men have been bitter rivals since time immemorial. Grabe's son Henning and Pröpping's daughter Bärbel don't care. They love each other and announce that they want to get married.
