Die Glücklichen plot

Writer Hans has landed a deal with an American publishing house and, on the occasion of his professional success and alleged breakthrough, invites his old and creative friends Helene and Tom to his local lake house. Tom will be joined by his girlfriend Charlotte, who takes his aspirations as a writer only partially seriously. The eccentric Helene has brought the honest Ole. Hans tries to impress everyone with a Porsche, his young girlfriend and his boasting about his job. But what is truth and what is appearance?
