Die Gefesselten plot

Luise (Valerie Niehaus) and Alexander (Björn Casapietra) are a happy couple who have one striking feature: they are both in wheelchairs. Life is going very well despite everything, until there is a chance for Alexander to be healed. He grabs that opportunity with both hands. Within a short period of time he can walk again and gets a lot of success in his job as an architect. However, Alexander then neglects his wife Luise and even starts an affair with a colleague.
