Die Fremde und das Dorf plot
After an earthquake in Italy, a number of traumatized children are taken care of in Austria. Rosaria is an Italian teacher who accompanies the children. She immediately falls in love with the unconventional Josef, who owns a small farm with his gruff father. Josef's brother Franz, a widower, lives with his son on his parents-in-law's farm, where Rosaria also resides with her student Stefania. It soon becomes clear to Josef and Rosaria that they are meant for each other.
