Die Fahne von Kriwoj Rog plot
Gerbstedt is a small mining town in the Mansfeld copper basin. It is 1929 and there is a meeting between local miners and Soviet Russian colleagues. Their gift is a flag of Kriwoj Rog, which will have an unexpected importance for the German class brothers. Because this flag is not only a symbol of solidarity in a demonstration, but after the communist takeover it is considered a sign of resistance to survive in Nazi Germany. Apparently the Nazis also noticed this, because they leave no stone unturned to get this symbolic badge into their possession. However, they cannot convince the miners and their families, especially Otto Brosowski, even under persecution, torture and imprisonment, to give them this flag.
