Die Entscheidung plot
Michael (Jan Josef Liefers) and Mara (Julia Sternberger) are overjoyed with their son Jonas (Simon Morzé), and are shocked to hear that he has to undergo a heart transplant. We have to wait for a donor heart, but that will not pass soon. The boy's grandfather, the wealthy manufacturer Sylvester (Friedrich Von Thun), proposes an expensive operation in Switzerland, where the donor heart of an unknown person is present. Mara and Michael refuse, not wanting an innocent boy to fall victim to their son's healing, but slowly but surely time is running out.
