Die Ehe des Dr. Med. Danwitz plot

The young Dr. Danwitz (Karlheinz Böhm) works as an unpaid doctor in a hospital and his wife earns a living as a fashion model. She becomes pregnant and is fired. This puts the Danwitz family in a difficult position. The couple Christa Hambach (Heidemarie Hatheyer) have no problems, because they have a large fashion salon where Edith (Marianne Koch) used to model. When Christa Hambach also becomes pregnant, she panics and asks her doctor to terminate the pregnancy. He is friends with Danwitz and wants to involve him in the case.
