Der Verlorene Mann plot

Imagine this: the man you were once married to, and later divorced for perfectly understandable reasons, suddenly reappears in your life—and he has no recollection of ever breaking up. This is what happens when Kurt visits his ex-wife, Hanne, who now lives with her partner, Bernd. It turns out Kurt is suffering from dementia. The three try to make the best of an awkward situation, which becomes even more complicated when attempts to return him to his nursing home fail and his daughter proves difficult to reach.
