Der Tiger Akbar plot

Jonny Wilken is an elderly lion tamer in a circus. Johnny is in love with his younger colleague Jutta Sarris. On their wedding day, Jutta's favorite Bengal tiger attacks and kills her out of jealousy. Filled with grief, Jonny enters the cage in revenge to kill the tiger with his bare hands, but then the animal submits to him without resisting.
