Der Student von Prag plot
The sixties of the 19th century in Prague. Balduin is a popular student and the best fencer in town. He and his best friend Dahl have a crush on Lydia, the innkeeper's niece. When the students are celebrating Lydia's birthday, the opera singer Julie Stella arrives at the inn. Balduin is immediately enchanted by the glamorous singer, but she already has an admirer: the rich, foppish Baron Waldis. The mysterious Carpis helps Balduin. But the price will be higher than expected.
