Der Pirat plot

Jan (Jürgen Vogel) who smuggles hash from the Netherlands is the 'Hashprince of Hamburg' in the 1960s when a new drug comes onto the market: heroin. Jan makes the mistake of tackling things in the same way as the trade in soft drugs and this irrevocably leads to his prison sentence. Behind bars he learns to use besides dealing, which leads to his downfall.
