Der Mann mit der Maske plot

A university town is gripped by a series of rapes and it's up to Chief Prosecutor Arthur Schildt (Jürgen Hentsch) and Inspector Gawilek (Klaus-Jürgen Steinmann) to end the situation. After a few months of investigation, everything indicates that the perpetrator must be a certain chaplain, but they have to let the man in question go again. This is because during his imprisonment the real perpetrator, who is called Zorro because of his method, raped seventeen-year-old Mascha (Lenore Steller). Suspicion now falls on Bernd Schildt (Sebastian Koch), a gifted law student and the son of the chief public prosecutor.
